People want to make a difference.
Engage your participants in a fun-filled musical give-back workshop with visible impact.
We have created flatpack DIY musical instruments called BamBooms. Very simple to put together, BamBooms can be made within minutes, with or without tables and chairs. No glue, no mess, no waste.
And they sound GREAT!
With their BamBoom in hand, delegates learn to play a song all together, a feat made possible by our exclusive interface. Each instrument has a colour, and all participants have to do is follow the visual cues.
The result is a truly musical group outcome in very little time.
Through our ambassador network, we distribute the instruments far and wide. We include several fun-to-play songs and follow-up lessons so we can give the taste for music to children everywhere.
BamBooms are put together by your attendees, but the bamboo key has to be made by hand and tuned by ear. This is a very precise exercise that can only be done by an expert , using the finest quality bamboo. Our materials have been dry-cured for a minimum of 6 years, to ensure tuning is stable in any environment.
Our craftsmen are fairly remunerated and make $2 on each instrument they make. They are all master instrument makers and are possibly the last generation of the traditional bamboo-based music community In Indonesia, which we help to keep alive.
Our process is completely streamlined for maximum efficiency: your request is despatched to the Musix for Good facilitator closest to your event. Each facilitator is stocking hundreds of instruments and will bring them on-site on the day of your event. Since BamBooms are flat-packed, 150 units can fit in a suitcase. This means no transport fees other than the facilitator and his suitcase(s).
We are present globally, but will always pick a local charity to benefit from your instrument donation. This means two things:
1. Increased efficiency
2. Your participants can relate to the chosen recipient
Our footrint is extremely low due to optimized logistics and the materials used (upcycled bamboo, recycled cardboard). We offset the little we generate through transport by donating to TeamTrees, an association that plants millions of trees.
Our facilitators have run hundreds and sometimes thousands of musical engagement events. Our internal staff have all been in the corporate event industry for many years. You’re in good hands!
